Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009!!

Well, it's that time again. Time to celebrate 2008 and look forward to the upcoming year. This year has been busy, fun, and rewarding. Between Thankgiving and the end of the year, the Lee's have been able to do a lot of different activities. We were blessed to be able to visit both sides of the family for two Thanksgiving dinners. That was a lot of food! My mothers sister and her daughter and family, flew in for the holiday dinner. It was great to catch up with them, we haven't seen them for 10 years.
Skyler turned 8 years old on the 14th of December and we are preparing for his baptism on the 3rd of January. I can't believe he is growing up so fast. We had a fun Lego's themed party for him and he had a ton of fun playing with all of his friends. Anne has been busy baking all of her wonderful holiday treats and having fun taking care of the kids.
We did our annual vacation retreat up in the mountains near Midway, Utah. We arrived and there was about 2-3 inches of snow, but the day after we arrived, the storms turned on and we almost got snowed in a few times. We did a lot of sledding, Wii, building gingerbread houses, arts and crafts, and watching movies and shooting nerf guns. There is never a dull moment with these four kids.
Just before Christmas, my sister Beth found out they were having another boy. It seems to be a pattern that the Lee kids seem to have 2-3 boys before having a girl. I believe this will be the 18th grandchild for my parents. We were saddened to hear that my great uncle Pete passed away and we will surely miss him.
When Christmas rolled around we enjoyed a Swedish traditional meal over at Anne's parents house for Christmas Eve. The next day we woke up to the sound of Daxton, Skyler, Ayden and Cambree squeeling for joy to dive into their presents. The majority of the presents that the boys received were lego sets of 1,000 plus pieces, JOY! Anne and I spent over 12 hours helping with the lego sets. Yeah! Can't wait for them to grow out of the lego stage. Cambree got a lot of girly stuff and she wore her new Bell Disney dress for almost two days. She is truly a girly girl. After we opened our presents at home, we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Lee's House for food, presents and the traditional movie. We had a blast watching Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler.
We are excited about celebrating the New Year and will probably attempt to keep everyone awake to invite the New Year in.
We wish you all a Properous New Year and may you reach your goals and live life to its fullest!!

Love,

The Lee's

Primary Programs!

So today was the primary program, something I as the proud mom watching from the benches, loved, but this year I had a whole new perspective on things. This was for two reasons, first it was the first year that all my children were in the program, and second this was the first time that Andy was a primary teacher without me. So as I sat on my comfy bench I wonder just how long it would be before Ayden or Cambree came to join me. It wasn't long after Cambree had said her line that she decided that she had had enough of this, so down she came. She then spent the rest of the time copying our chorister, this would have been something easy to ignore, except that Ayden sitting in the front row loudly told her that Sister Flora said not to do that. Shortly after that Cambree friend Kenidie decided to join us, it was at this time that that I decided that the primary program is something that was thought up to show parents just how crazy their cute little children become when set loose on their primary teachers. Actually the program was done very well. The best parts of the program were Andy singing with the other male teachers, and Daxton and Skyler singing Called to Serve Him with the rest of the senior primary boys. Ayden was very cute saying his part making sure that he had eye contact with me the whole time.
I am always amazed at Andy; it seems that what ever role he play he is always at his best, and today was no different. I am so blessed to married to him, he is such a great daddy, totally involved with our children's lives. I love watching him play with Cambree, she is so lucky to have Andy for her Daddy. He is so awesome with the boys and all the sports they play, but still making sure that they focus on their school work. He is my favorite person to just hangout with. This year we have had alot of fun at the BYU games as well as watching them play on TV, this morning Cambree came in our bedroom singing rah rah rah rah rah go courgars.

The boys are back at school and getting in to the swing of things again. Daxton's homework load has gone up, he is doing great at soccer, scoring at least once at almost every game.

Skyer can't wait untill basketball season starts. He is getting use to more homework in second grade, but still wishes that school went P.E. P.E. LUNCH RECESS P.E. P.E.

Ayden and Cambree love preschool. They have the best teacher, and are loving every minute of being able to go to school like the big kids.

Andy and I are loving fall, football, and the prefect Utah weather! We hope every is doing great!!

June 31, 2008

It is that time of the year to update the Lee Family Blog. We have done a lot of fun things over the past 6 months and it seems that we all survived. All of the kids have grown taller, smarter, and wiser. Anne and I have seen an amazing change in each of the kids.

Skyler had a blast playing Jr. Jazz during the winter months, and I had fun being the coach. We had a successful season learning many different new skills. Skyler has been doing a wonderful job in school and has a great talent and interest in math and reading. But of course, he loves playing sports the most.

Cambree is growing so cute and tall. She is almost the same height as Ayden, which makes them almost look like twins. She has taken an interest in dance and she should be starting lessons in the Fall. She and Ayden are best of friends or best of enemies, depending on the day. She has truly balanced the boy /girl ratio with her big personality.

Ayden has been a great ball of fun and energy. He has enjoyed going to the older boys baseball games and practice this year, and looks forward to starting tee ball next year. He is quite a tumbler and we are thinking about putting him into gymnastics this fall to help use up some of that energy.

Daxton is the big brother everybody dreams to have. He has grown up so much this year and has really stepped up in helping mom out with the kids and the household responsibilities. He has been and inspiration to all on his baseball team this year. I decided to coach Daxton's team, the Cardinals, with the help of a good friend. This was definitely a building year, we had 10 out of 12 kids that were 9 years old and new to baseball. Daxton did an awesome job pitching and being a leader on the field. We just got back from Cub Scout day camp at Jeremiah Johnson's Adventure camp. I was so proud watching Daxton practically teach the Astronomy class to the leader that was trying to teach the class. Daxton answered all of the questions and then added a little bit more to the answer, teaching the teacher a few things about Astronomy. He has great reading retention and a mom that taught him to read from the day that he was born.

Anne and I are staying busy. We decided to move out of the Lease option house that we shacked up in for the last year. With the way that the market turned for houses this last year, we found a better value in the old neighborhood we just moved from this last year. The kids really wanted to stay close to their friends, so we made an offer on a house not to far from were we moved from on the Kennekuk Lane. We should be closing on this house the first part of July, in a couple of days.

Anne is finally glad to be finished with her duties as the FSO(PTA) President at the Ranches Academy. She had a great learning experience and certainly put a great deal of time and effort into the assignment. She is looking forward to putting more time into, just concentrating on the kids and there individual growth. Anne and I have been called to be Cub Scout Den Leaders for the Bear and Wolf Pack in the ward. It has been fun so far.

This Spring and Summer, I have been able to travel to a few different destinations for work. I visited Seattle, Orlando, and the most recent trip, I visited San Diego. Instead of flying down by myself to San Diego, I decided to drive and take the family with me. We had a blast. The day after school ended we hit the road for Southern California. We stopped the first night in St. George. The trip was wonderful, we just purchased a new Chrysler Minivan with all of the bells and whistles. The kids had two different screnes to watch movies or the Satellite TV cartoons. With head sets, Anne and I enjoyed the peace and quiet and played the name the tune game with the Sirius Radio. A lot of fun, and it kept me awake as well.

I had to work the tradeshow until about 2 pm everyday, so Anne and the kids went to the Zoo a couple of times and we visited SeaWorld for two whole days too. Two of the evenings we went down to the PetCo Park were the Padres play and had a blast watching them play the Cubs. I would highly recommend visiting San Deigo, but don't recommend the Wild Animal Park.

We suprised the kids on the last few days and took them up to the LA area and stayed at a Hilton right by the Angels ballpark. We didn't get to see any Angels games, but did take them to Disneyland. I think everbody in Southern California was there that day. But we figured out the whole FastPass deal and got to ride the majority of the rides we wanted too. The watershow and the fireworks were amazing.

We hope that all of our friends and family that read this blogsite, are living happily and health and loving life to its fullest. We love you !!

Welcome 2008

The Lee family had a busy, fun year in 2007. Anne and I spent some time in Orlando, Florida, in February. I had a business trip and brought her with me. We had a wonderful time visiting the Epcot Center and Disney World. We headed south after that, to visit my brother John, down in Miami. We stayed at a beach front property on Miami beach. The waters were awesome.
In the spring, we started baseball for Daxton and Skyler. I had a fun time coaching Skyler's tee-ball team. I played softball in the Orem league and our team took 1st place. Yeah!! We celebrated the 4th of July by renting a boat and 2 jet ski's and stayed a couple of days up at Deer Creek Resevoir. We invited both, Anne and my, families to play in the sun with us and camp.
In August, Anne and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary and Anne's 30 birthday. All of the kids turned a year older and a year smarter.
Anne is keeping busy, she has taken on the task of PTA president for the kids school, the Ranches Academy. She spends 15-20 hrs a week, some weeks, serving at the school. It has been a learning experience for all of us.
Third grade has brought alot more homework for Daxton, he is handling it all very well bring home all A's. He has really gotten into baseball and football this year he loves watching football with Mom and Dad, he has really enjoyed the Patroits prefect season and BYU's nearly perfect season, with Anne this year. Skyler is doing great in first grade, he has had a blast hanging out with friends and playing basketball. He is playing Jr. Jazz this year and I am his coach. Ayden and Cambree are a handful for Anne at home and are growing up very fast. We are only a year and a half until all of the kids are in school. Yeah!!! But, I am positive Anne will miss them.
The Holiday Season was packed full of fun. I didn't pull any muscles playing in the annual Turkey Bowl, and didn't pop my top button eating two Thanksgiving dinners. It was close though. We spent a lot of time with family and took our imidiate family up to our timeshare in Ogden canyon, at Wolfcreek. We had a great time playing in the snow, eating, playing games, and hanging out. The kids found a new love, bowling. Cambree got her nails done for the first time, a huge highlight for Anne mostly. She loves her little girl. And she is a girly girl, that is for sure. She is certainly gorgeous, like her mother.
I had a fun time going to 3 BYU football road games, with friends, including the Las Vegas Bowl. What a great season. Go Cougars!! We have had alot of fun attending a few Jazz games and BYU basketball games. We can't keep Anne quiet about her New England Patriots, and rightly so.
Our weekends consist of;movies, sledding, Kangaroo Zoo, church functions, School functions, and sports. It never stops, but is a lot of fun. We miss you all and please contact us and let us know how you are doing. Happy New Year 2008!!!!
